345 WORDS | READ TIME: 1.3 MIN Hi friends, Well, it finally happened. I suppose it was only a matter of time, but that doesn't make it any easier to admit. Here goes: This week, my co-host Justin and I sat down to roast the podcast of one of our listeners. It's a history podcast, History of the Germans that is several years into what will surely be a decade long project to chronicle the history of the German people in podcast form. The roast started well. We noticed some weirdness with one of the graphics and offered some tweaks to the description. But that's where the wheels began to fall off. Because despite our well-trained eyes keenly looking for something, anything to tear into and rip apart... we could scarcely find anything. Maybe we're getting rusty. Maybe the coals beneath the grill had turned cold. Or maybe, Dirk, host of History of the Germans, is just doing a whole lot of things right. I suppose that might account for the 1,000+ ratings in Spotify 🤔 That's not to say we let him off the hook completely. Despite his success, there is one major issue that is likely losing him subscribers. Not to mention a mountain of untapped potential in his website.
